Speaker 1:

Hey, there, a little bit of a different episode, but today I just wanted to come in to just give a small update about the podcast. So I think, moving forward, what is going to be happening is that this is going to go from a weekly podcast to an every other week podcast, so twice a month episodes. Now, there are a few reasons for this change. First of all, I really do want to get off this production hamster wheel the researching, scripting, recording, editing. As much as I love it, I feel like there's no time to process the content, because as soon as I'm done with one episode, it's time for the next. And this is quite interesting because, in a time when there is so much information out there, I don't think we give ourselves the time and the space to really process the information that we're taking in, and so I find myself just constantly putting out this information, which is fine, but I'm thinking on the receiving end, it's too much to take in, it's too much to absorb. I mean, I've found, with podcasts that I listen to every week, I feel like the person is constantly promoting a new episode and I feel I cannot keep up with everything that is coming at me, and so I was just kind of thinking about it from a listener's point of view. Especially the kind of content that I want to create that is very actionable for people's businesses too, I do want to give that space to get the information assimilated and then actually implement it. And of course I know that maybe an extra week won't make much of a difference, but it just gives that breathing room to just take in the information and actually have it be implemented and useful in your life and in your business. So yeah, I don't want you, as a listener, to also be on this constant hamster wheel of new information coming at you and overwhelming you and you not be able to do anything about it. So that is one reason. The second reason is, you know, the second two reasons are that, which are good that I am getting more client work, so that is demanding on my time too, and I have other business projects that I'm working on which I'm really excited about. Most of them are in relation to my art business, so I'm so excited for that. I get to be more creative, and so I really look forward to spending more time in that business of mine. And so, and another thing and I think this is.

Speaker 1:

I mean, all these reasons are important, but this one is really the most important one too that I do want to work on the quality of the content that I give out on this podcast, and one thing that I've missed is having guests on my show, and so I'm going to be working on that and just taking actionable steps I know we're going into for us in the Northern Hemisphere, we're going into summer, which is a little bit of a slower month, so I'm going to be kind of sourcing guests and looking for collaborations on that end, and I know a little bit I mean things kind of slow down in the winter in the Southern hemisphere too, a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Um, but I thought this would be a great time to really work on the content of this show and really take time to engage, to look for and engage amazing guests that can join me and have discussions about all things business and entrepreneurship and leadership mindset all the good stuff that I love discussing on this show. So that is my little announcement I'll drop a full episode for you next week, so stay tuned. Same time, same place. That's it for me. Bye.
